D’Angelico Guitars to Debut New Semi-Hollow Model—the Mini DC—at NAMM 2020

NEW YORK—January 2020—At the 2020 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, D’Angelico Guitars will debut the Mini DC, the newest addition to its semi-hollow offerings. Available in both the Premier and Deluxe Series. 

Developed in direct response to customer feedback over the last two years, the Mini DC is a fourteen-inch-wide double cutaway semi-hollow boasting warm and punchy tone. Sibling of the crowd favorite DC, the Mini DC’s undersized body, sleek headstock design and slim C-shape neck profile combine to create unprecedented comfort for every player. 

In the Premier Series, the Mini DC comes equipped with Seymour Duncan Designed humbuckers, while its Excel Series counterpart features USA Seymour Duncan 59’s paired with coil-splitting push/pull tone knobs. In both series, the Mini DC offers rich, natural tone and sweet sustain by way of its full centerblock semi-hollow design, while its undersized body and headstock shape create perfect balance and more player comfort than ever before—ideal for the guitarist looking for an easy-to-wield instrument. 

The Premier Mini DC is adorned with chrome hardware, vintage-inspired speed knobs, and a slim C-shape neck profile. Available in Ocean Turquoise, Champagne, and Fiesta Red. $799 MAP.

The Excel Mini DC features gold hardware, Grover Imperial tuners, and an ebony fingerboard with split-block mother-of-pearl and abalone inlays. Available in Vintage Natural, Trans Cherry, and Black. $1799 MAP. 

The Premier and Excel Mini DC will be available at select dealers as of January 16th, 2020.
