For the first time in brand history, solidbody guitars will be built to spec at our custom shop in California, featuring an a la carte menu of premium tonewoods, boutique electronics, and an outstanding array of aesthetic details. Run by renowned luthier and longtime D’Angelico collaborator Gene Baker, all D’Angelico Custom Shop guitars are hand-built to spec by Baker.
The flagship design in the D’Angelico solid-body collection, the Bedford is a speedy offset that looks like it was plucked from the sixties. Featuring a slim, satin natural neck and undersized headstock, the Bedford is defined by its comfort and quickness. Boutique options available only in the USA Custom Shop bring out the Bedford’s articulate tones, versatile playability, and vibey aesthetic.
A reimagination of a classic shape, the Atlantic is a robust single-cutaway solid-body. A deep belly cut and thinner body depth keep the Atlantic lightweight, while a satin-finished, slim-C neck shape guarantees playing comfort. Paired with the highest quality tonewoods and unique electronics found in the Custom Shop menu, the Atlantic offers sweet sustain and wildly versatile tones.
Emerging as a fan favorite in the solid-body collection, the Brighton is a curvy double-cutaway built for performance. Featuring deep cutaways that provide easy access to the highest frets and a lightweight body design, the Brighton prioritizes the player in every sense. Its performance-friendly design pairs seamlessly with the bold electronics and tonewood options found in the Custom Shop menu.
The Ludlow combines performance-driven features with an unforgettable aesthetic. Designed for maximum playability and monster sustain, the Ludlow’s oversized body shape allows for effortless fingerboard access while a slim neck profile and deep belly cut retain comfort. Exotic tonewoods, audacious Custom Shop electronics options, and vibey finishes find the perfect canvas in the Ludlow.
