NEW YORK—April 2018—Emerging as the most popular model in the six years since the brand’s reignition, the Excel DC semi-hollow has been upgraded for 2018. Per consumer feedback and a desire to elevate tone, the DC now features Seymour Duncan 59 humbuckers paired with coil-tapping push/pull tone knobs making for maximum versatility and better capturing the vast range of genres played on the instrument. Aesthetically, the Excel DC will now feature split-block inlays and a gold truss rod cover for a visual refreshment.
