Bob Weir Turns Ryman Concert Into Tornado Benefit

Like several other big concerts already planned this week in Nashville, Bob Weir and Wolf Brothers’ show at the Ryman Auditorium is now a benefit for tornado relief.
A portion of ticket proceeds from Saturday’s concert will go towards the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund — part of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. They’ll also donate all proceeds from a unique t-shirt being printed for the occasion, and will hold a “sweepstakes” of signed D’Angelico guitars.
Attendees are encouraged to make physical donations at the Ryman concert for the Community Resource Center and Nashville Humane Association
Items needed include personal hygiene items, baby items including formula, diapers, wipes, pacifiers, bottles, battery operated lanterns, tarps, rolls of plastic sheeting, work gloves, vinyl gloves, latex gloves, Windex, Lysol products, batteries and flashlights, towels of all sizes, dog and cat food (wet or dry in sealed packages), collars and leashes.

he weekend’s biggest concert — Dan + Shay’s two-night stand at Bridgestone Arena — was also preceded by the duo’s announcement of a $100,000 donation to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
Two all-star benefits will be held on Monday: Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlile and many more at Marathon Music Works, and a modern country jam hosted by Mitchell Tenpenny at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row.
