Joel Del Rosario Artist update

The album will be releasing this summer, and I’m really excited!  I’m still floored by the tone and fullness I get from the EXL, so full and so warm.  Actually, I’m naming one of the songs “The New Yorker” in honor of the D’Angelico line, and as a tribute to Wes Montgomery & Ronny Jordan who had recently passed.

A few weeks ago I had a show at a winery here in Northern California and the compliments have been consistent…”That guitar sounds so smooth, what type of guitar is that?” and “That guitar is gorgeous” (regarding the NYSD) to which I respond proudly “The D’Angelico NYSD”.  I’ve also used the same guitar on several recording sessions lately, including Cal Harris Jr.’s “Shelter Island” which charted #16 on Billboard this past week (Jazz/Smooth Jazz).

All in all, I’ve been really pleased with my D’Angelico NYSD and EXL and thank you so much for making such great guitars!
